Carmichael College is a fast-growing, co-educational school with a distinctly Christian environment. The Gospel-centred campus includes Outside School Hours Care, Carmichael Kids & Kindy, Creekside Cafe and Creekside Community Church.
Carmichael College was established in Morayfield in 2015 and has a current enrolment of 700 students across Prep to Year 11. By 2025 the College will have reached Prep to Year 12 with future enrolment numbers capping at 1400.

Chaplaincy Administrator (Part time term time only)
The College is seeking applications from experienced, self-motivated, team-oriented Chaplaincy Administrators, to provide exceptional support to our Well-being team. The successful applicant will be a highly trusted member of a friendly and hands-on team, reporting to the Wellbeing Coordinator.
The Role:
This position is focused on providing support directly to the Wellbeing team and requires a high level of confidentiality, the role will include but is not limited to:
- Monitor and respond to chaplaincy email address and chaplaincy team on-call mobile phone.
- Record minutes and prepare reports for team meetings
- Receive new referrals for support and follow procedure to appropriately communicate as needed with chaplains, parents/carers and staff
- Work alongside chaplaincy team in ensuring necessary documentation is filed effectively
- Prepare resources for programs alongside chaplains
Primary School Chaplain (Part time term time only)
The College is seeking applications from experienced, self-motivated, team-oriented Primary School Chaplains, to provide exceptional support to our Well-being team. The successful applicant will be a highly trusted member of a friendly and hands-on team, reporting to the Wellbeing Coordinator.
The Role:
This position is focused on providing support directly to our primary students, working in conjunction with other members of the wellbeing team along with other staff members and requires a high level of confidentiality, the role will include but is not limited to:
- Provide pastoral care to students (individually and in small groups) who may be facing various struggles such as friendship concerns, following grief and loss, separation anxiety etc.
- Record pastoral care notes according to processes directed by the Chaplaincy Coordinator
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, classroom teachers and other members of staff around the needs of students
- Assist with chapels, discipleship groups and morning devotions (where invited) with the goal of providing spiritual support and being a mentor to students
- Work closely with other members of the chaplaincy team and school leadership in planning of key chaplaincy events
Human Resources Coordinator
Carmichael College is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who will be responsible for all day-to-day human resource operations and activities, including onboarding and offboarding employees and leading positive employee interactions across the Campus.
You will:
- Manage, respond and support all HR functions for the College.
- Review and maintain HR policies, including general HR inquiries from staff.
- Oversee the College recruitment process.
- Management of the onboarding and offboarding of employees.
- Provide the College Executive with HR reporting and data analysis as needed.
You will bring:
- Previous demonstrated experience in a hands-on Human Resources role.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related fields.
- Knowledge and/or experience in HR best practice including the understanding of compliance with regards to legislation and HR practices and policies.
- Previous experience supporting change projects & initiatives is highly regarded.
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships at all levels.
Sports Excellence Coordinator
The College is seeking applications from experienced, self-motivated, team-oriented Sports Excellence Coordinator to provide exceptional support to our Physical Education and Sport Department. The successful applicant will be a highly trusted member of a friendly and hands-on office team.
The Role:
This position is focused on providing support to the Head of Department (HOD) HPE and Sport. Day to day key tasks and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
In partnership with the Head of HPE and Sport, develop a multi-sport, extracurricular excellence program;
- Developing strong and intentional relationships with students.

Cleaning Staff
Carmichael College is seeking dedicated and reliable cleaners to join our team committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff.
Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness across the campus and assisting with internal student crossings.
Starting in 2025 with various flexible positions and hours.

Maintenance Officer
Carmichael College is seeking a Full-Time hands-on Maintenance Officer who will add basic trade and/or well-rounded handyperson skills to our existing Facilities team.
You will bring:
- Flexible thinking and solutions to day-to-day maintenance tickets
- Ability to work a flexible roster to support the activities of the College, as required
- Manual drivers licence
- A trade certificate or proven on-the-job maintenance skills
Supply Teachers
The College is seeking applications from Christian professionals to fill Supply Teachers roles. All subject areas are welcomed across Primary School, Middle School and Senior School. The successful applicants will be practicing Christians, who are able to actively express the College’s Christian faith. Applicants will be Queensland registered Teachers who possess the following skills and attributes:
- Have a Biblical worldview and integrate biblical principles in teaching and learning programs.
- Ability to apply appropriate knowledge in order to teach prepared learning programs provided by the classroom teacher.
- Knowledge of and the ability to implement effective and inclusive teaching and learning processes, including the use of learning technology and assessment, to establish a challenging learning environment in which students are encouraged to work towards attainment of their potential.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students including the use of appropriate interpersonal skills, and the ability to apply appropriate behaviour management strategies that contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive learning environment.
- An understanding of the need to work collaboratively with school staff and members of the wider community, in order to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes.
- Provide for the physical, social, spiritual, and emotional well-being and the health and safety of students whilst at school
